Hot take: it’s predictable when children graffiti swastikas on school property. When it seems like adults can hurt children without consequence, children want to hurt adults back, and all they really understand about swastikas is that they hurt adults emotionally for some reason.

Hotter take: Captain Underpants provides a valuable public service by being something basically innocuous that still enrages a certain brand of adult as much as swastika graffiti.

Concept I’ve been tossing around for if I ever rewrite my worst story: trans woman who has a religious objection to cosmetic body modification. Not to cosmetics—she loves her blue lipstick—but to modifying the body directly with hormones or surgery. She doesn’t see anything contradictory about being femme and proud with a so-called “male” body.

Digging into Guilty Gear

Man, the lore must have been so confusing back when the first game released, and you got bits and pieces of it by beating the game with every character. You had to beat the game with Sol in order to find out what the fuck a Guilty Gear is.

(Basically, it’s him. Sol is the Guilty Gear.)
