I’ve figured out what kind of mindset it takes to think PS5 resellers are laudable. You know how the people who write Intro to Economics textbooks say the max amount of money you’ll spend on something is the amount of utils you get from it? So if A will spend up to 5 dollars, and B will spend up to 10, Econ textbook writers think B wants it twice as much? In that mindset, a PS5 reseller is making sure the PS5s only go to the people who want them the most.

Yeah, this is pretty dumb.
