 It's about some people on an Internet forum trying to understand a baffling fantasy novel. The narrator is rereading the forum threads to try to understand the baffling events that happened. I'm reading the AO3 comments to try to understand this baffling story. Congrats on the recursion! Makes me wish Gene Wolfe had an AO3 comments section. I am never going to read the Northern Caves, but I do love that the Internet allows such things to exist, even if I am never going to read them.
