You know those games where the characters are “playersexual,” attracted to any gender of protagonist? How would that work if characters in an A/B/O setting made a game? Would your character have basically the same romance arc with that cute Omega, regardless of whether you built your character as an Alpha or an Omega? Alternatively, would the devs make different routes for Alpha/Omega and Omega/Omega? Would there be ship wars over which route is better/more canon? Would people be like “the Alpha/Omega route reinforces the stereotypes of submissive Omegas, and I’m totally not just using social justice rhetoric as a bludgeon because I think Omega/Omega is hot”? Would other people say “the Omega/Omega route is pandering bullshit for SJWs”? Would there be idiots who complain the game even allows you to play as an Omega, because it’s “unrealistic” for anyone other than an Alpha to kick ass?

It took some mental reframing, but this trope is finally starting to grow on me.
