One fights for a status quo that’s clearly corrupt and unjust, but the people on that side are all likable. The other wants to change things for the better and is probably right, but they’re the antagonists because they’re assholes.
I’ve seen a lot of MCU posts claiming the MCU is “programming” people to support a corrupt status quo in real life. That’s not what I’m here for. I’m just here to reverse the trope. I want a status quo that’s actually good, defended by the most unlikable assholes around, and rebels who’re likable even though their goals are completely unhinged.
