I feel like virtue ethics is a little too flexible. I mean, someone says honesty is a virtue, and you point to a situation where honesty is unkind, and they say kindness is also a virtue. Then you point to a situation where kindness is ineffectual, and they say kindness needs to be in moderation. It doesn’t seem like there’s any possible situation where you could argue against virtue ethics and have your argument stick.
