Me: It’s kind of sad that so many of us are alienated from being human. We call ourselves aliens, or demons, or mermaids, and we make art of ourselves in those forms, because we’re queer/disabled/autistic and we’ve been treated like monsters. It would be better if we could claim ourselves as people like everyone else.
