I used to watch a show called Sanctuary. It had a scene involving the shredded corpses of hundreds of mermaids. The remnants of their torsos had breasts, but no nipples, because that would be obscene.
I have to say, context-free snippets of the media you've seen from your blog makes me aware of a huge wild world of media I know nothing about, and am kinda glad to.
I have a remarkable ability to make any show I describe sound like it’s terrible and you’d never want to watch it. If I were trying to convince you to watch Star Wars, I’d somehow find myself telling you about the giant slug who takes a princess captive and forces her to wear a bikini, and then she strangles him to death with her chains.
Sanctuary was legitimately cool; just a little on the gory side sometimes. I’d compare it to the early seasons of Heroes.
I mean, to be fair, I then thought about that meme where you try to make something you like sound as terrible as possible, and thought about some of the stuff I read, and yeah.
I just like seeing your interpretations of it. Feo Cliff Notes.
