I once argued that all of the party members from Chrono Trigger map to party members in Mass Effect 2. Marle is Miranda, Lucca is Tali, Ayla is Jack, Frog is Garrus, and of course Robo is Legion. Magus is harder to place, but I’d say he’s Thane. 

This makes Mass Effect 2 the superior game, because I always wanted to kiss Frog.
